I was pissed; they played Santa Cruz Friday night but it was out of the question (and was originally hoping to do Hardly Strictly).

You should go just for the stage set up on this Bunny Boy tour - haven't heard a single note of it, but I can tell you the Cryptic Foundation will put on one hell of a stage show. I saw Freak Show and it was pretty mind blowing.

Thanks BD. I'm leaning towards going, gotta call my friend from Brooklyn and see if he can get over to Irving Plaza to pick up tickets for 'face value'. I'm sick of ticket master and their "conveinince charge" - what a load of horsesh*t - the last time they charged an extra $10 and I printed the damn ticks myself, all they had to do was send me an email.

Ticketbastard are just as bad in Europe. Living Colour (pro-Obama,too) in Tilburg,Holland on Oct 31 has cost 27 Euros PLUS 6.50 per ticket.
The drive from Manchester plus ferry is still cheaper than going to London, though!

Anyone remember Ticketron?

When I lived on the south jersey shore the only place to buy concert tickets was a headshop/record store called acrat. $35 for $15 dollar tickets, friggin scam and a half. We could do better from scalpers after opening band went on and if we didn't mind mixed seats.

We would jump the wall and go general admission or pull the old go down and borrow someone's stub and come back up trick anyway.

Sure do!!! I also remember my buddy collecting all our cash, cutting school and going to Nassau Coll or MSG to score tickets at the door the day they went on sale so we wouldn't have to pay the Ticketron markup.

The logistics are preventing me from saying yes, my buddy keeps some odd hours and rarely answers his phone.

But thanks for the offer.
